In a semi-final game, the U.S. Olympic Women's Ice Hockey Team defeated Finland 4-1 at the Beijing Olympics. Earlier in another semi-final match the Canadian Olympic Women's Ice Hockey Team easily dispatched Switzerland 10-3. This sets up the anticipated confrontation between the only two countries who have won the Women's Olympic Gold Medal since its inception. The Gold Medal game will take place this Thursday.
